Research turned into a critical documentary on plastics and recycling
"Made with my class as a minor study, Trace the Waste 2 is a research driven documentary that takes a critical look at plastics and recycling. Through research and reporting, we explored what really happens to our waste and the gap between how recycling is presented and how it works in practice."
During my minor study 'Social marketing’ at Rotterdam Hogeschool we were planning to make a small documentary about plastic.
My main task was the audio and video editing: Originally plan was to make it about 15 minutes long. But after we were done with the initial research we knew that it had to be longer. So suddenly I was stuck editing a 45+ minute documentary all alone.
Luckily it was finished before the deadline and we were able to show it to a theater hall full of interested individuals.
